If you’ve ever been to the Disney World theme park, you know that it’s enormous, which means you and your family will be doing a lot of walking.
If your kids are younger, that walk is even more challenging, especially if they get tired or hot.
That’s why a stroller is such an essential part of your visit. But what stroller can you bring to Disney World? I’ll tell you everything you need to know about strollers at Disney World in this post, so read on.
What strollers are allowed at Disney world? Disney allows a few stroller varieties, including double, triple, and side-by-side strollers.
You can rent single and double strollers at the park entrance. In most cases, child-size strollers (not wheelchairs) are also allowed through the park.
The first thing to look for when choosing a stroller is if it folds up easily. Some strollers come with a carry strap to carry it on your shoulder while walking in the theme parks.
If you have a single or double stroller, you should be able to use it here with no problem. In some cases, there may be a charge to rent one.
Double strollers are more common in the parks than single strollers.
If you have twins or triplets, we recommend renting a double stroller if possible so your children can ride together and keep each other company.
Where Can You Get A Stroller At Disney World?
Keeping little ones happy at Disney World can be challenging, especially if you’re trying to push them in a stroller.
Thankfully, there are plenty of places to rent a stroller so that you can take advantage of the park’s many rides and attractions.
However, like rides, there are some restrictions on where you’re allowed to get one, so here’s where you can get a stroller at Disney World.
The first place is at the front of either park entrance. There are plenty of strollers here, and you don’t have to wait long for one.
The second place you can check is in the baby care center or medical facility (both located near the front of a park entrance).
If neither place has them available, try renting one outside Disney Springs or CityWalk.
If you’re traveling through Walt Disney World with a little one in tow, there are strollers available for rent throughout the park.
Strollers can be found at select locations, which tend to change over time.
What Size Are Strollers Allowed At Disney World?
You can bring a stroller up to 32 inches wide, 48 inches long, and 55 inches tall.
-This means that you can bring most standard-sized strollers on your vacation. If you have a narrow or extra long stroller, you might want to check with Disney World before packing it up.
Many strollers can be folded up and stored in a locker when you’re not using them, which is an option when you have small children who need a nap during your vacation.
How Many Strollers Can I Take Into The Disney World?
You can bring one stroller per family. If you have twins, that means two strollers; if you have triplets, that’s three strollers.
-This is a good rule of thumb when planning your trip, as it will make everything easier for everyone involved.
You may think bringing two tandem strollers would be okay because “duh,” they’re both single seats, right? Well, no. Disney does not allow double tandem strollers into the parks, so those are out unless you plan on strapping them together somehow.
Also, note: there is no such thing as a double side-by-side or “side-by-side” style stroller allowed inside the parks. It has to be a traditional tandem model with two seats facing each other-
-like this one from Baby Jogger, which we like because it’s lightweight, compact, and easy to maneuver through even tight spaces like Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.
